Review content:
It was not a bad hamburger joint but certainly not a steakhouse by my standards. My wifes filet was flavorless and over cooked, I asked for Pittsburg and they didn't have a clue how to cook it. not a good sign so I switched to ground sirloin and grilled onions, not very satisfying when I wanted a good steak. Salad was fair salad dressing was in a waffle batter dispensor and had been there for a while. baked potato was over cooked and only luke warm but when the plastic bacon bits and plastic cheese was put on it was cold along with the tube of sour cream. service wasn't bad for a hamburger joint. but a steak house it isn't. price is not consistent with a hamburger joint. expensive for what you get. Needless to say I won't be returning to the Hungry Farmer unless I am somehow in the mood for an overpriced overcooked Hamburger, IHmmmmm I can't ever remember being in the mood for that. I am begining to wonder if there are any good restaurants in San Antonio. sigh Charlie
Pros: Hmmmm thinking,,,,,, still thinking....... Ok the beer was cold.
Cons: Not enough room
