Review content:
we really thought there was a chance that we could get some decent fish up here, even if the place was not run by japanese owners. we had a decent meal, last year, and then 3 or 4 middling ones. tonite, the worst. when i asked the sushi chef if there was anything special, his response was ""i don't know."" i have to admit, i've never heard that response before, so for novelty's sake, it was a winner. they were out of the sake i ordered, so i asked for the house sake. when the bill came, it turned out that they had not given me the house sake. so i was in for another six bucks. ok, whatever. the appetizer came out when i was almost finished with my (mediocre and WARM) sushi. then--and this is the worst part--during my last bite of dinner, that sushi ""chef"" poured bleach on his counter, right in front of me, actually causing my eyes to water. the waitress even commented on my well being. well, no more hanako for me. to date, no decent sushi places in northern westchester. resigned to the waste land. Pros: was a bright shining light, at one time Cons: now, they simply don't give a damn
