Businiess name:  Molina's Cantina

Review content:
I decided to try the new Molina?s Cantina that just recently opened on Bellaire Blvd/Stella Link. It was a cold January day so I ordered a bowl of chicken soup (caldo de pollo). I couldn?t believe what I saw when the soup was brought to my table. First of all, the bowl was only half-full. I hate to think what I would have gotten if I ordered the cup of soup instead of the bowl. Then I noticed that a few small, diced pieces of chicken were swimming in red water. There was nothing else, just about a teaspoon of diced chicken in red water, no vegetables, no onion, nothing. On the side of the bowl was about a tablespoon of Spanish rice and a few slices of avocado. I think this meal was worth $1.00 instead of $6.50 that the restaurant charged. When I complained to the waiter, he said this soup was made differently, it was not like the soup I have at home. The waiter did not even offer to bring me something else or at least say he was sorry I was disappointed with the meal ? nothing. The waiter was so rude ? just answered everything with ?yes? or ?no? and never smiled. I asked if I could at least have some tortillas to eat with the soup since I needed something else to satisfy my appetite. He came back with a few tortillas and threw them on the table, without saying a word. Also, the margarita I ordered tasted awful ? it had a bitter taste. I didn?t complain about that ? I just wanted to leave. When I returned to work and mentioned my experience to my co-workers, some said they tried the Molina?s on Westheimer and the food there was awful. Well, you can bet I will never set foot in a Molina?s again.
