I'm an ice cream addict. I'll admit it. I will go far and wide to try different types of ice cream (see my reviews of other spots). Mortensen's is the best tasting ice cream in Connecticut, in my expert opinion. :-) They have a plethora of flavors...all are to die for! They even have non fat, no sugar added ice cream that tastes wonderful (tough to find any of those that has any taste/substance to it). They have some outstanding pies, also. Since I've been going there I've got to know the owner, Ron Mortensen. What a terrific, outstanding business owner. Very nice man. He really runs a tight ship as the customer service is wonderful.
