We went to this Joe's Crab Shack while on vacation and had such a memoriable time.
We were greeted at the door, and quickly sat down. Our server Mary was not only a great server, but fun! We got the crispy calamari appetizer and it was scrumptious. Mary saw we were running low on marinara and brought us more. There was a balloon artist there that night and he made our daughter a dazzling princess crown, and me a butterfly. He did a great job, was very personable, and added to the fun. The first time the servers danced, my 8 yr old daughter was too shy to get up. she had a blast watching and giggling. When Mary was done, she came by and told her that next time she would get up and dance with her. Our daughter could not wait! we got our food, and everything was perfect! My husband got the skillet paella was delicious the shrimp plump and juicy and the mussels big. it was seasoned just right with a little kick of spices. I had a new england something ? it was a crab cake, stuffed shrimp, onion straws, and fish and chip. It was all amazing! the beer batter fish cooked just right - golden brown on outside, tender and flaky on the inside. the crab cake was yummy and full of crab, and the stuffed shrimp were unbelievable. they were not huge shrimp, more of a medium size, but they were cooked to perfection, and the stuffing was the best I've had . Our daughter ate the kids fishermans catch, it was popcorn shrimp, fish and chips, and cheese sticks with marinara. SHE loved it!
The servings huge, we had alot to take home and snack on in the evenings after getting in from the Disney Parks. we watched a table that had 2 birthdays celebrating, have a broom race around the restaurant. ( our daughter at that point said she wanted to do that on her birhday!) and another birthday the waitstaff kneeling down and serinading them happy birthday!
then the next dance song came on and Mary again invited our girl up to dance and this time she went up and Mary taught her the steps. we got it all on video. BIG thanks to Mary for making this visit magical for us! when we go back in a few months we hope Mary is working! we will ask for her for sure!
After dancing, our giggly girl was presented by a manager an award of participation ( a free meal next time we come in) - my girl so proud of this! soon after another manager who came by and checked on us, and asked how we were doing and introduced herself, upon leaving our table instructed someone else to deliver a shark to our daughter.
for desert our little one tried the you build an ice cream sandwich sundae and she had such fun with the sprinkles.
thank you all for making this a great visit. I would highly recommend Joe's Crab Shack in Celebration to anyone with no hesitation.
