Review content:
This place is just down the street from me. I've been partial to it since the doorman asked me for my ID last year. Yeah! Classic Rock on the jukebox, dartboards in front, pool table in back. It's a drinker's bar. Because of its proximity to NYU sometimes it gets filled with ""the wrong crowd,"" and sometimes it's just packed. (It's lack of high-tech coolness, keeps the real scum away however.) Freya, the waitress, was kind, and full of life. This time, there was a free caricature for anyone ordering BASS ALE before 11. --Drink Club, since 1998, is a roving group of NY Drinkers Pros: Friendly staff, untrendy, darts/pool Cons: too collegiate
