I visited this clinic in '09 for extractions & a full upper denture. ""Premium package"" deal. Right off the staff was cold, indifferent, even rude at times. During the imprint, I asked to lean forward to avoid the gag reflex. She allowed me to, walked out, walked back in & SHOOK IT AT ME & said, ""we tried it your way, now we do it my way"". My immediate denture was huge, uncomfortable, & difficult to keep in. Bite didn't feel right & it was so far back in my mouth that I couldn't stand it. Dr. Sako lost patience with me & walked out of the room. After sitting there for a while upset & crying I got the mirror & looked at it in my mouth & really became upset. Another girl came in & told me that I just had to get used to it. I told her to look at how much wider the teeth are than my lower teeth. Know the commercial with the old man & woman who put each other's dentures in their mouths. How huge his were in her mouth compared to her bottom teeth? That's how this looked on me. My lower teeth are 1 1/2"" side-to-side, the denture they made is 2 1/2"" side-to-side! I looked ridiculous. I went back to the clinic & arrived just before 9am. I'd have the weekend to get used to a denture before work Monday. Dr. Sako REFUSED to see me. The recep. advised me that they wouldn't make a new one, that it had been decided yesterday. News to me. I asked again, can't she just see me so I can show her what is wrong? REFUSED. They offered to make my permenant denture & I said no, if we can't get this one right. An assistant asked for the denture, she started to walk out with it, I asked if she wanted to know what was wrong & she said that it didn't matter, that they were going to refund & release me. Dr. Sako & her staff were completely unwilling to work with me to find a solution, wouldn't even hear my complaint. They left me on a Friday with no teeth at all. They mass produce, assembly line fashion, cookie cutter dentures. If you don't fit in that mold, you're out of luck. Pros: Fast Cons: Too busy for compassion, unwilling to even hear complaint, didn't try to solve problem.
