Businiess name:  Donelson Air Service Experts

Review content:
I'm pretty sure that Donelson's technicians just lied to me about my split-system a/c system, saying that it only needed an ""acid wash"" and it would start cooling again, even though I had just told them that another tech from a diff company had told me that the bearings were shot on the motor and that often the blades wouldn't even turn, making it impossible to cool the air. The Donelson guys stuck to their story, wanting to sell me a $99 cleaning contract instead of waiting to see if in fact the blades, which were turning at the time, shut down. (Naturally, the system did shut down shortly after they left.) They even pretended that lint stuck on the outside of the system was impairing the coils, which had been cleaned that morning with a garden hose, and I know that you have open up the interior of the system to access the coils to clean them. They also suggested that the system might need more freon after it was cleaned, even tho it had been topped off that morning by a different compny. I think they were hoping I'd pay for the cleaning, then discover I needed to buy a new system, and that Donelson could supply that too. And since the $65 charge for the visit would automatically be credited toward the purchase of a new system, they wanted to rope me into a service contract over and above the initial $65. I suggest you try the Lee Company, or American Heating and Cooling. Pros: None. Cons: They'll try to con you.
