we just went there because we were staying in hells kitchen. we had such a bad experience I felt it was an opportunity to figure out which review site were accurate. I hate to ever judge a place on one bad experience but I am frustrated we wasted both our money and time here during our first visit to NY. Food was a bit bland (and it was boar lasagna!! - how do you make boar lasagna bland?). Pasta (hopefully was not but...) tasted like it was frozen or made incorrectly and overcooked. Service could have saved all the food - for sure. It did not. Saw him 3 times(wine order, food order, and bill). we filled our own wine and water, had to grab the waiter for the bill, and were never even asked if food was okay. Whatever, just disappointed at a place that has a great atmosphere and potential. Hopefully you take this into account or the owner sees it and starts managing his/her business.
