I brought my 12 year old dog in for an exam. He had an ugly skin growth. I wanted it removed PROVIDING IT DID NOT CAUSE HIS DEATH! I paid for additional testing & X-rays to ascertain his health status. It appeared he was well enough to undergo the surgery. Unfortunately the vet kept him under anesthesia for AN HOUR! He never recovered & died from liver complications caused by the anesthesia 2 days later.Additionally the instructions for after surgery care listed his staples as "dissolvable stitches that would need no further care." When I called to tell them he was not doing well - my calls were returned only AFTER business hours. When I reminded them that I was ADAMANT that I did not want the surgery if it would end his life - they told me I was aware that there were "risks" involved. A dead dog and a THOUSAND DOLLAR bill. Unless you want your pet to die - I recommend you avoid this clinic AT ALL COST!!! I am still waiting for the vet & person in charge of billing to call me back - 4 wks now. Pros: none Cons: Expensive procedures leading to death
