Review content:
When I started driving in 1980, my parents started directing me to T&T where they had been going for several years. I left for college but anytime I came back for breaks and needed work on the car, I would head on down to Harry Hines and Regal Row. When I returned to Dallas for good, I picked right back up with them. Up until 2002, I always had used cars (sorry, "pre-owned") that would need various degrees of work. Until their cousin opened his own shop a few years ago, I never wavered in where I would take would take my car. Good work, nice guys, totally trustworthy (a priceless quality in a mechanic for someone who despite having listed to NPR's Car Talk for nearly 20 years still doesn't feel comfy in the automotive world), does the job right the first time or on those rare occasions when it wasn't completely fixed would have me bring it right back in. I could count on them to do the work needed to fix or maintain the car without feeling like they were doing more than I really needed. I feel the same way about their cousin's shop, Trowell & Reece, and go there because of loyalty to their cousin. I've recommended both shops to countless people over the years. And I love that they would take me to work and pick me up in the afternoon. Big thumbs up for T&T!
Pros: Trustworthy, good work, great customer service, felt like one of the family.
Cons: Not in the greatest neighborhood (they won't leave cars out at night) but fine during the day.
