As you prepare to enter Tabla, there is a beautiful, Indian-style swing that lets you know that you have arrived. As we enter the doors, we are greeted by our hostess, Miss A. She is a genuinely, sweet lady, who leads the way to the bar and takes the time to explain the menu for us, as we are a bit new to Indian cuisine. We had some really good samosas, which are like empanadas filled with chick peas instead of meat; yummy! My friend loves the "sweet" sauce as she calls it (plum-I believe) but I kind of fancy the "green" or mint sauce-WOW; it wakes your tastebuds right up. I don't remember the proper name, but we are addicted to their Chicken Masala. Creamy sauce with a little kick, great presentation and the Chicken is already cut into bite-size pieces; served with a fragrant rice & finished with a touch of Suracha(hot sauce) on the plate. The desserts are perfectly-portioned for someone like me; I'd say about an ounce or two. I had the Sticky-rice pudding; don't let the name fool you...it tastes just like flan & the consistency is about the same, just a tad thicker. It was soooo good that I will definately be having that again. My friend had an almond cake that was quite yummy. Our bartender, Evelyn, makes a mean-dirty martini, as well as some of the mini-tinis they have. You've got to try them; we consider ourselves liquor officionados, being in the business for over 17yrs and Evelyn knows her craft. All of the staff is very personable and helpful. Shabber, the F&B Director, was extremely helpful in describing the dishes in relation to American and/or Spanish dishes, so we could easily understand. All of the dishes came out exactly as he described, but even prettier! We will not only be having dinner here again (Sunday, as a matter of fact) but will meet up for drinks. The bar has a nice array of liquors, as well as wines, and Shabber says that he plans on expanding the wine list even more. So cheers to them with my fabulous dirty, Ketel One martini! Pros: Ambience, Great Service, Convenience, Prices, Selection Cons: Parking, restroom stalls are small
