I have made effort's to rent a property from AT Smith and Co over the past few weeks. It wasn't much of a apartment but it had the right location for me. From the beginning I noticed that it took forever to get anyone on the phone or have them return a phone call. I have since reconsidered renting from them simply because they are unprofessional and irresponsible. It's very unfortunate because I viewed a few of their properties and I could tell they were once nice places to live. They since have fallen into disrepair by a uncaring management company. What is worse is the owners of these properties are losing money due to vacant properties that are not being rented out. I'm confident that once the owners found out about the irresponsible behavior by AT Smith, they would quickly find another management service to handle their property. Don't rent from them, don't even bother calling them. You can go back years and see that the same problems that plagued this company years ago still plagues it today. People who are incapable of doing their job's, don't care about doing their job's, don't care about their customers or tenants and don't care about the property they manage.
