This gym is absolutely horrible. I signed up knowing that I have a disability and I was pregnant. I have trouble standing for long periods of time and walking far, but I need to get exercise. I knew there was a high possibility with the pregnancy and health issues I may have to get out of my contract. They promised it wouldn't be a problem and even wrote it on the contract. I ended up having a miscarriage and had to get off a lot of my meds so I could no longer work out. It has taken me over a month back and forth with the spring fitness and headquarters to get my membership cancelled. They keep charging me and I have spent hours filling out all the information. I would never recommend this place nor will I ever go back. The assistant manager, Todd Spell, keeps saying he is upset with the corporate office and gives open promises. Then when I call the next week he changes his promises on getting my money back as he has told me all sorts of wrong information to get this membership changed.
REPEAT DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP AT THIS GYM THEY LIE ABOUT THE MEMEBERSHIP AGREEMENT AS THEY WROTE MY CURRENT DISABILITY ON MY CONTRACT AND WON'T LET ME OUT OF IT. I PROVIDED TWO DOCTORS NOTES, MY DISABILITY CHECK AND THEY STILL HAVEN’T LET ME OUT OF IT. I FINALLY HAD THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY BLOCK PAYMENTS.
