Review content:
Dr. Roberts performed my eye exam and aside from the snooty receptionist, the exam itself was uneventful. Dr. Roberts said my vision had worsened in one eye, wrote my prescription, and I ordered my contacts online. I?m not exactly certain what happened, but somehow Dr. Roberts screwed up my prescription. Despite what she told me during the exam, the prescription she wrote indicated the opposite: the vision in one eye was unchanged but vision in the other had improved. This created a fiasco with the online contact people who said I needed a correct prescription in order to return the contacts that I couldn?t see out of. Thinking it wouldn?t be much of an issue, I called Brentwood Eye Care to sort the whole thing out. Dr. Roberts?s condescending tone and lack of professionalism was appalling. Before I could even explain the issue she began screaming at me. She attacked my character, intelligence, and claimed I was lying about my previous prescription. Her harsh words actually made me cry, which I don?t think has happened since about the 6th grade. I have never been treated with such disrespect in my entire life. All I wanted was the correct prescription so I could order the correct contacts. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, Dr. Roberts became combative, offensive, and malicious. The fact that I couldn?t see out of the contacts she prescribed indicates that she made a mistake. A wrong eye prescription isn?t that big of deal. I can forgive mistakes, but I cannot forgive such a lack of respect. Clearly Dr. Roberts and the Brentwood Eye Care team neither take pride in their work nor value their customers. The contact company finally sorted things out for me and was able to send me the correct prescription, although Brentwood Eye Care refused verify any prescriptions. Needless to say, I will never go to Brentwood Eye Care again. Their lack of professionalism lost my family?s business. I highly discourage anyone and everyone from giving them your business. Pros: None Cons: Poor customer service, combative staff
