Businiess name:  Putting On The Knitz

Review content:
I didn't find my experience at this store to be very comfortable. I'm a twenty-something knitter, and was a little surprised at how scornful the owners were when I asked if they sold cotton yarn. It seemed that I had broken some huge, important rule by not knitting with wool – oops, I’m just a college student that knits for fun! Their yarn is pretty expensive, although they do have some really nice yarns. Plus, they are a small store, and have big chains to compete against. They give lessons for free if you buy your yarn and supplies there, which is definitely a good deal. So, if you want someone to teach you to knit a sweater, it seems like a good place to do that, because you only need to pay for the yarn, not the lessons. I wasn’t totally comfortable with the people who ran the store, they were pretty intense, but hopefully you’ll have a better experience!
