Review content:
My daughter was married on the cape in July, 2009. We had booked Clementine Floral (Perfect Package) nine months before because we thought they had captured our vision for the summer inspired wedding we tried to create. The wedding palette was very pale pink with soft and muted shades of celadon green and ivory as accent colors. The flowers we received from Clementine were very dramatic shades of deep pink with stark bluish green and white contrasting colors with very dark greenery. In the proposal we signed, and ultimately paid four thousand dollars for in advance of the wedding as required by them, they had agreed to using certain flowers and colors, adding touches of starfish to several arrangements, using specific color ribbons, and adding certain last minute touches to the wedding ceremony site that we paid extra to have done. In addition to not having the color flowers we wanted, none of these extras that we paid for were provided. I also was promised one of the owners would be there that day, but neither was. To add insult to injury, after the wedding I sent an e-mail to one of the owners to complain, but was told it was my fault for not speaking up (a few hours before the wedding to the delivery person/driver). I was also told that they cannot guarantee the floral colors or species as they are at the mercy of what is available at the flower market. She told me it states that in the contract we signed, so therefore they are not liable. She also did not address several of the other things I brought up and said she would look into but did not follow through with either. She also intimated that the wedding venue may have been responsible for the missing items from the wedding site. I told them I would be taking some sort of legal action, which I intend to do, but never received so much as a reply. It was the only vendor/business we encountered throughout the wedding process that did not follow through with what was asked and paid for. Flowers is one of the largest expenses in a wedding and you should get what you pay for. The flowers were one of the things we paid far more than we could afford and went over budget because the flowers were that important to creating the mood and the atmosphere. Jennifer had lots of good ideas, and I could not wait to see the flowers she created. Except Jennifer was not even on the cape the day of the wedding. She did not put together any of the arrangements. Now every time I look at the pictures I am reminded of my huge disappointment and what it could and should have been. I doubt whoever created the flowers that day even looked at the proposal. Pros: none Cons: owners who don't care
