I had Big Lots furniture just out of college. It was my "this will do until I have a real job" furniture. Just recently, I got married, and we needed a new bedroom suite to round out the new house's furniture. We were shocked to find that the best bedroom suite we could find for the price range we wanted was at Big Lot's. We got a *beautiful* sleigh bed and bedroom suite for less than half what the *same* suite was selling at at other furniture stores around town. If you're looking for high end stuff, this is of course not the place. You can, however, find some terrific deals on good, quality stuff you will use day in and day out.
That said, there's a lot of furniture here that isn't so hot, just like all the other places. Use your head, comparison shop. Don't leave out Big Lot's though just they're a discount store. You might miss a bargain.
