Review content:
Armstrongs is a nursery that carries a wide variety of plants, seeds, trees, bushes, bulbs and other gardening supplies for the home gardener. It's fun to walk around and see what's available. The greenhouse displays hot house varieties. The employees are knowledgeable and ready to help.
Here's the problem: Armstrongs is like a beautiful dessert that looks so much better than it tastes. Over the years I've noticed that the quality just doesn't match the price. Plants never do as well as the ones I pick up at the average hardware/home store and some don't thrive at all. My advice, go for the ideas and the eye candy and then see if they have the same thing at Home Depot.
