Review content:
I grew my hair out for the sole purpose of donating it to Locks of Love (a charity that provides wigs for children with cancer who lose their hair due to chemotherapy).
Well, after losing power at my home repeadedly during the hurricanes last year, I got fed up and needed the hair chopped off NOW (I have thick hair and I'm not used to having long hair-- it's hot!) We heard that Cartoon Cuts gave a free cut to anyone donating, so my sister and I went.
Oh... my... gosh! It was totally butched. It was uneven... it was old lady-ish... it was all wrong. I still left a tip and left unhappy. I tried to live with it, but after about a week I called to see if I could see another stylist. She wasn't any better. Now I had even less hair and it still looked bad. I decided to just leave it alone and let it grow out at this point.
You have to be a really good hairdresser to cut short hair. You have to be even better to work with my thick, straight hair. The people at Cartoon Cuts are just not that good.
