lobby was nice. Thebar was pleasantand staff friendly and helpful. check in - there were 22 ahead of me with only 2 people at the front desk and not in a hurry. After getting off the elevator noticed walls are in desperate need of a paint. There were serious marks and gouges on the walls and doorways. Molding actually had chunks of wood missing. Room faired better but too much furniture for the room. King bed, large amoire and desk too much You could barely walk around. Bathroom required you to move around the door before you could get in comfortably. No thermostat, went from cold to warm with no way to adjust. Bed uncomfortable and on metal platform that caused stubbed toes.
A large room was probably Manhattan club other half of hotel -- gutted and expanded.
Pros: nice bar and lobby
Cons: needs a facelift
