Review content:
I sent a version of this to the Best Buy corporation I should think that as Best Buy?s monopolizing choke hold over a huge percentage of the electronics and computer retail market begins to tighten you would be able to afford jobs for the consummate professionals you have displaced. I had the displeasure of engaging with 10 or 12 computer specific sales associates and members of the Geek Squad. All they could do was sweat and fumble like a bunch drama club students after junior prom. Every employee I dealt with proceeded to recommend and grantee products that were not only incorrect for the task at hand but also incompatible with my computer. I don?t ask for much: cup of coffee in the morning a Highlife at night and roof over my head but it sure would be great if when I went into, what is now, one of the only computing and electronics stores in our not-so-tiny metropolitan area that I can get a straight answer out of a valid employee. Over the course of 3 different trips in 3 days I was shuffled around and handed off from one employee to another like Grandma Tilley?s colostomy bag changing duties after Thanksgiving dinner. It was a descent through a gauntlet of inadequacy as everyone I spoke with became more and more inept until somehow I found myself voicing this very complaint to a front door security guard, whom several employees had identified as a manager. I wouldn?t want to buy a cheeseburger from these clowns much less spend thousands of dollars on complex machinery. Maybe if you guys had a drive-thru window your employees would feel more comfortable in the work place. In the end I purchased a working product from a competitor ?the Mac Outlet? who, oddly enough, chooses to staff competent and informed employees. Pros: Adjacent to Jamba Juice Cons: everything else
