I've driven by this tiny little restaurant on Downing many times and decided to go and eat there this morning. It is fantastic! The setting is intimate and the owner is lovely and friendly. We got the breakfast burrito and pancakes and they were both excellent. I have to say I have searched high and low for good pancakes, and these were amazing! The banana bran pancakes with walnuts, blueberries and strawberries are a secret recipe of the owners that she developed in the 60's, and they are absolutely incredible. And then, to top off the wonderful experience, they give you freshly baked cookies with the check. Who could ask for anything more in a breakfast place?! Absolutely wonderful! They also do lunch and fish and chips - I will definitely be back to try those too!
