Review content:
Grub is easy to miss on a side street peppered with post-production facilities in Hollywood. But what a wonderful little place! It's small and friendly -- the owners and wait staff are always warm and welcoming -- with a terrific menu. My personal favorites are the "Mama Mia!" homemade garden burger and the "Afterschool Special" grilled cheese and tomato soup combo. Also try the homemade ginger ale! One refreshing twist at Grub is that instead of bread or chips to get you started, you're served carrots and celery with ranch dipping sauce. Yummy and healthy!
One downside: this is NOT a good place for a business lunch or one where you want to have a good ole heart-to-heart with someone. The acoustics of the small space make for a loud din (unless you want to eat at one of the few outside tables).
