My family and I went to this restaurant thinking we could have a nice Christmas Eve meal. Boy were we wrong! First of all, there was no record of the reservation we had made. After placing our orders, we enjoyed a fried calamari appetizer (decent but not the best I have had), and waited for our main courses. After about 20 minutes of waiting, imagine our surprise when our plates were cleared and silverware taken away. We were all thinking this was a pretty nice place to be giving us completely new place settings. But instead, the server came by asking if we wanted dessert! Hello?! We didn't even receive our main dishes yet! What kind of waiter doesn't even remember if his guests' meals have not arrived yet? It turned out that "the kitchen had not received the order," whatever that means. After we finally received our meals, we still had no utensils. When they came, they were sloppily placed on the table. The food was great - too bad we had such a bad taste in our mouth already from the service. We asked for some compensation for the terrible service, such as a free dessert, and the server was unwilling, saying it wasn't his fault. When we asked to speak to the manager he suddenly wanted to give us free dessert. And he didn't even bring over the manager! Even at a cheap place like Olive Garden, they bring the manager over who then makes everything better. Not to mention that you get asked if you want a drink refill (we didn't). We couldn't wait to get out of the place, but when we asked the hostess to take our bill, she kept talking to the table she had been talking to all night and waved us away, saying "your server will take care of the bill." The worst part of the experience was every interaction we had with the staff. This place obviously does not pride itself in customer service and gets business only because of its prime location. Don't go there unless you want to get treated badly while trying to have a nice dinner! Pros: Good location, decent food. Cons: Terrible customer service, and the staff could care less about you.
