apparently, the first review was written by the hotel. the real skinny on this property is a very poorly run hotel. the staff tries, however anyone who stays a few nights and makes friends with any of the help, definately gets the gossip on how much their management team is struggling and how unhappy the workers are. what could be an amazing property, turned out to be a big disappointment. food and drinks very overpriced, disgruntled employees, run down rooms, bars ran out of product every day, meals at the pool bar took over an hour to get to our table. save the headache and check out the courtyard marriott which sits directly on the beach and is less than 10 minutes away from this one
