This bank is a nice well kept bank. Back when we were just starting out they featured a 'Budget Checking account' which really seemed to be out of our budget. You were allowed to write approxiamately 10 checks and then after that you were charged for each check you wrote over the ten. This was costing us over $30 and $40 a month. I guess if you don't keep a certain amount in your account as well you have to go with something like this form of 'Budget account'. This bank is geared for people who have thousands to start off with, and don't mind keeping in a savings, so that you can avoid their finance charges. My grandmother claimed they do not treat the senior citizens like this and she was offered free checking, which is a good thing.
