I would feel comfortable purchasing almost any piece of clothins american eagle sells. Their shorts tend to be a little on the short side, as do some of their skirts, but beyond that they tend to sell very tasteful and trendy clothing.
Catering mostly to a younger audience, everyne could probably find something that they would like to wear at american eagle
