I've gone to the same Vet for years (Beechwold Vet) but noticed VCA Mill Run Animal Hospital on my way to work today. I thought I could save myself some time and pick up my dogs heartworm and flea medication on my way home from work and save myself the drive out to Beechwold.
BIG MISTAKE.
After two phone calls to their office I was told that they carried the medication I needed but I would need to have my dogs files faxed over for them to serve me. I was also told that they price match to 1800PetMeds. Great. So I spent 30 minutes or so getting them my dogs medical records as well as looking up prices on 1800petmeds.
I stopped in after work assuming it would be a quick medication pickup. After spending almost 30 minutes waiting in their lobby I was told that they "ran out" of BOTH the medications I was told they had earlier in the day. Another vet tech walking by confirmed that they were out and informed that they don't normally carry those medications at all. An hour of my day wasted and no apology from their staff. Poor customer service at its finest. I will never return to their business and I would recommend you check out Beechwold or NorthStar Vets in columbus if you're looking for somewhere to take your dog or cat.
