but we don't make any claims about the content of these pages. We strongly believe
in freedom of expression, even if a review contains unappealing or distasteful
content or present negative viewpoints. We realize that this may be frustrating,

Review content:
1. Almost impossible to find your video. Not in alphabetical order. Instead, organized according to random, arbitrary categories.
2. Staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. Ask for help finding a video and you get the feeling you are imposing on them. Good luck getting a smile or thank you.
3. Staff are not knowledgeable. They seem never to have heard of movies I ask them about.
4. The owner is rude and arrogant. He acts like he is doing you a favor. I wanted to check on whether he had any new movies in a particular genre that I like, and he responds "I thought we went through this last time." I have also observed him being rude and unhelpful to others, e.g. acting like you are interrupting him, giving out minimal information in response to questions, reluctance to come out from behind the desk to help customers (even when there is no one in line).
Don't patronize them - they give a bad name to other hard-working independent businesses in Santa Barbara.
Pros: Convenient parking. Near Starbucks.
Cons: Rude, unhelpful, dirty, good luck finding your movie.
