My appt started 25 min late. Lina recommended Microdermabrasion and Revitalight treatments with no alternatives. She never explained the treatments but did tell me the price. I told her I’m not familiar with these. She said no problem and passed me off to a staff member who performed the treatments. Lina came back occasionally to check and push additional treatments (eye brow wax and tinting which I declined.) At check out, Lina gave me a sheet of instructions and information on the microdermabrasion. Why didn’t I get this BEFORE the treatment?? I would have declined the treatment after seeing the list of stuff I could not do and must do! Then she said I needed to use their products including the Precleanser, Cleanser, Moisturizer, Eye firming cream, Exfoliating cream, another Cleanser to alternate, cotton swabs (which were $6), and Sunscreen. She handed me a bill for almost $500 ($200 of treatments + $300 of products.) I told them no. I would buy a few products since I just found out I could no longer use the ones I had (part of the Microdermabrasion sheet.) After several times back and forth, I ended up with smaller bottles of some and samples of other. She said when I came back for my next treatment, I really needed to get the other products. What next treatment?? She handed me a pamphlet on the Revitalight treatment (once again, why did I not get this information BEFORE the treatment?) It recommends 6 sessions about 2 weeks apart and then 1 session every 2 months. I could get cosmetic surgery for the price of all of this over the first year! No thank you! Then she tried to push the makeup as I was trying to get out the door. I understand trying to push your products but the part I can’t get over is how bad and how ugly I felt after leaving this office. I don’t believe she gave me the best advice for me or my skin as I did not want long term continued treatments – I wanted an appt for a 1 time facial to use the gift certificate I received as a present and I really feel she recommends these 2 treatments to everyone. Pros: Pleasant staff Cons: Doesn't explain treatments, Pushes products
