Businiess name:  Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa At Gainey Ranch
Review by:  Ryan D.
Review content:
The Hyatt Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale is a tremendous Scottsdale retreat in the formerly North Scottsdale, now Mid-Scottsdale area of the town around the canals. The Gainey Ranch Hyatt has a number of very clear assets that draw local residents and visitors from afar. First, the patio with a roaring fire is a terrific place to unwind, listening to the live classical guitar music either before or after a dinner at one of the many restaurants on the hotel grounds. The view out over the canals to the east is lovely, and the ambience very pleasant. Second, the canals themselves form a beautiful backdrop for all the activities at the hotel, and visitors may hire or receive free passes to ride the canals on gondolas with singing boatmen. Third, the extensive pool systems at the resort give residents a choice from sandy beaches to waterfall spas to standard diving pools for all-day fun for a wide range of ages. Fourth, the casitas are a charming set of western bungalows that range along the canals’ verge for private retreats for the guests. Members of Hyatt Go/d Passport on various travel forums regularly mention this as the favorite Hyatt location in the West for redemption of frequent stay points, and it is easy to see why.
