If you believe Austin is the best city in the world, then Texas Chili parlor is the best place to get Chili in Austin.
The all-meat chili was what attracted my low-carb friends...the authentic, casual atmosphere, laid back staff, great (great) chili and happy hour/drinks kept making us go back over and over again.
They've also got a little tex-mex, burgers and staying open late, it's a delightful place to drop by late at night and get some good chili.
Hint: The XXX hot chili is (almost) not for human consumption
