I was really excited about getting this procedure done but the staff made the process regrettable from the very start. They made sure to quote me a price before I was even done w/my eye exam and then made sure I sat down w/someone to go over the financial part once I was done. This wouldn't have really bothered me had they actually covered specifics concerning the actual procedure such as pre-surgery and post-surgery items. The staff didn't tell me anything concerning my actual appt. What made me mad is when I received a confirmation call for my appt. and the rep just happened to mention (just as a reminder in fact) some drops I was supposed to take before the appt. Apparently I was supposed to get a prescription along with a folder of materials that I NEVER received. My Rx was called in but again, no info from the staff as to what I was supposed to do with them until I called them and asked. They didn't even know which prescription I had! To add to all this, I specifically requested to talk to the surgeon before my surgery as I had questions. I had to call and make this request twice as I was assured after the 1st call that I'd hear from someone and my second call was 3 days before my surgery! It was on this 2nd call that I asked about paperwork as I still hadn't heard any specifics or risks and I wanted this info before my appt so that I could ask questions. The receptionist assured me that she'd mail it so that I could look it over before my surgery in the event that I had questions. As you could guess already, I never received it. Apparently, their office has you read everything and fill it out right before the procedure. I researched just to find out that I wasn't even supposed to wear any kind of moisturizer the day before. And there is supposed to be a follow-up appt the next day which again,no one has actually mentioned. I'm sure the surgeon is wonderful but with staff like this, I'd regret even going through with the procedure. They"ll make sure you know how much the procedure costs but that's about it!
