The former Eat street grill is now Cine Citta - the new owner is a friendly, fashion forward Italian and in addition to the original menu they have added pastas, pannini, illy coffee along with hardwood floors, giant Italian movie posters which kicks this place up a whole other notch while maintaining the original pricing. I had lunch there yesterday- spinach and ricotta cheese ravioli with a sage butter sauce for under $8!!!! Perfectly light parcels of deliciousness with an almost translucent skin in a sauce that rides the perfect balance between richness and lightness. Its no wonder - the pasta is made on the premises. I followed it up with strawberry pannacotta (yes real strawberries whipped up in the pannacotta) and the most perfect bean to cup illy espresso I have had since my last trip to Italy! This is going to be one of those great transformations and additions to downtown LA!! Pros: Food, Value, Ambience
