Review content:
This is a large well equipped salon with many stylists and services. Each stylist is responsible for their own clientele and services. The salon is nice, well decorated and comfortable. While the salon provides a clean, modern comfortable atmosphere for the services they provide, it is up to you to find a stylist there who you are comfortable with and provides the results you desire. The best way to do this is by word of mouth. If you call without knowing who you want, they will most certainly recommend a stylist for you who is available. You may or may not be happy with your results, depending on what you desire and your ability to communicate this to the person doing your hair. Sometimes a quick availability means the stylist isn't in high demand for whatever reason. The stylist I use now is in very high demand and it is very difficult to get an appt with unless I book the next appt as I am leaving the current one. Previously when I first started going to Highland Salon, I was given to a stylist which I just never could get to produce the results I wanted. I should not have stayed with her for 2 years, but I did. She didn't ruin my hair, it just wasn't what I wanted. I changed to my current stylist and could not be happier. The salon is large enough and has enough stylists to choose from that I never even have to worry about running into my old stylist, which is nice. As with anyone who does your hair, you have to pick and choose. But at least at Highland Salon you have many all in one place to choose from. Other spa services are also available here in one place if desired.
Pros: Nice, Large, Comfortable Atmosphere for a Hair Salon/Spa
Cons: Not for those on a tight budget, although prices can vary from stylist to stylist
