The truth is, both times I have visited this particular location there have been problems that have not arisen from the same tasks done by other Kinko's stores. I believe it is simply a matter of incompetence at this location. Tonight, I walked in a couple hours before closing time and asked to have a single 8.5x11 printed on cardstock. The format was .pdf and was the usual format for what other stores have told me to bring in. The man working said "it is quite a process" and by this he was speaking of the single sheet I had asked him to print. I guess I had done a huge mistake by requesting an over-sized piece of paper since my art covered the whole 8.5x11 without margins, it was obviously too much for this peon to handle. He suggested I come back the next day, but mentioned a girl was going to be working that knew less than he did about the "lengthy process," but alas reassured by saying other workers would be around to help her with my situation. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. After all this, he continued to say that "a line was starting to build up behind me" and that I should simply come back tomorrow. I WAS the only person in the store before he started to tell me about this very complicated ordeal we would have to go through in order for me to get this single print. You can't just go to file -> print anymore, it's not that simple he explained. With this, he loaded on some more fees for the "manual adjustments" he would have to perform in order for my file to print correctly. In the words of Bill Murray "Has this whole world gone mad?!" I'm never going to this Kinko's again, I wouldn't if I were you either. Pros: None that I could see. Cons: Nothing got completed and I wasted my time, yet again, my mistake that I won't make again.
