Review content:
This is a place that I grew up on also. There is the lake, of course, but also a playground for the kids, picnic tables, and a nature trail that goes around the lake. On any given day, you will see someone with a fishing pole set up trying the reel one in. You will also find a lot of people walking and biking around the lake on the nature trail. It's pretty big...so be prepared to complete it once you start. There's no turning around! :) And of course the kids will love the playground. This is a nice little retreat away from the city, and you don't have to drive far. If you are tired of being surrounded by buildings, cars, people, and smog...head over here for a nice little respite one afternoon!
