Review content:
I read about this "spa" in Atlanta magazine and looked reviews up on line and thought I would give it a try. I was getting the Spa package with the facial, massage, mani & pedi. When I got there I walked in and to my surprise it looked like a regular nail shop. I said, ok, well, maybe there are rooms in the back. My massage was fine, but because this was a nail shop with two rooms used for spa services, I could hear people talking and laughing (meaning I couldn't really relax and enjoy the massage.) When you walk out of the room you have to squeeze by the nail techs and the row of spa pedicure chairs. The facial was fine but I could still hear people talking (still couldn't relax.) My pedicure was the least enjoyable. I felt like she was rushing because I hardly stuck my feet in the water before she pulled them out and started working. She was done in about 15 minutes then the lady came to do my manicure and was snatching my hand for each process and was talking and not really paying attention to the service she was giving me. Needless to say, I left out feeling more stressed than when I came in and wishing I had just paid extra and went to Spa Sydell or another spa. This place is just a nail shop that has hired a massage therapist and an esthetician and they have set up there extra rooms to be used for the services. The package is advertised online as $160 but the techs were calculating up there own prices as if I was paying them individually. I had to tell the lady that it said $160 online or else she would have charged me more. My suggestion is if you want the spa exerience go to Spa Sydell or another real spa establishment, so you can put on a robe and relax. If you want a real pedicure, go to The Nail Shop (that is the name) at 2756 Candler Rd Decatur Ga 30034. They ALWAYS take atleast 45 minutes to an hour to do my pedicure. But I guess in this case, I got what I paid for. Pros: Package Price Cons: False Advertisement all around
