Review content:
Today was the first and last time I will ever get my nails done at diamond nails. I went in just for a polish change on my hands and to also get a pedicure. I brought my own polish but the man said I should try the shellac polish b/c it lasts for 14 days and was shiny. I said yes and now I really regret it. He didn't fill in the entire nail on a few, left air bubbles, left paint on skin around my nails, and also most of my nails have little ding marks. THIS IS AFTER he removed to polish and redid them a total of 5 times!!! I even asked him if we should just scrap the whole thing and redo it with my polish. I was also surprised to find out that the shellac polish was an extra charge which he failed to mention. My pedicure was so-so. I had to balance the drying uv lamp in my lap for my hands which he trying to fix during my pedi since there didn't seem to be a table around. One of the worker's kid was throwing a mini tantrum in the back and he looked to be around 10 yrs old. The lady doing my feet was holding my foot so loose and soft that even though I get pedicures regularly and am not normally ticklish, it was unbearably so. She even made a comment about me being ticklish and continued to stroke the bottom of my foot with one finger. Idk what was up with that. They also charge an extra $5 for the sea salt scrub they use for the leg massage. I've never been charged for that and I'm from Hawaii where the prices are outrageous. All in all, this experience cost me $70 b/c I had to get my nails redone and 2 hrs out of my life completely wasted. I did pay and I did tip. If they had done good work they would've received my standard 40-50% rather than 15.
