Review content:
I lived right down the street form this place an it took my brother visiting from Buffalo to get me to check it out - you know how that goes. It turned out to be a real nice find - a gem. I have always been a Sinatra fan and because of my age - I never had the opportunity to see him perform live. My perception of how he played small clubs is pretty much what I found at the Carnegie Club. The 11 piece band did a nice job of cranking out the music - while the singer did a wonderful job not only singing those old tune but telling interesting Sinatra stories in between songs. Yes, it was a little too smoky from the cigars - Yes it was hard to see the stage and yes it was a little too crowded but I just gotta believe that's what some of his shows were like. It was all that and great! We had a really good time and hope to return again real soon. Ova-Nee
