Businiess name:  Pro Tile Bathroom Specialists
Review by:  Susan J.
Review content:
EZaccessbathrooms.com is the dba of Protile. I spent approx. $10k on a bathroom tub to shower conversion in 2009 and exactly 2 years later, the grout started to crack and the water leaking through that exposed a bigger problem. Robert Garcia did not install the shower pan correctly and it would not hold the leakage. Mr. Garcia came to look at the damage done to the ceiling below it and blamed it on the shower door that he chose and installed. He did no other inspecting or testing and did not even turn on the water. He then said that I needed to pay him an additional $1300 to install a new shower door which would solve the problem. Instead I called a plumber who cut a hole in the ceiling below the shower and did a shower pan test. He said that the leakage was immediately apparent and that the only recommended solution was to have all the tile work and the shower pan torn out and redone. Mr. Garcia never responded. I had to contract with a reputable contractor to redo the entire project. Be careful with this company. They know how to market to seniors and the results look attractive. Unfortunately, the shoddy quality of the workmanship and their lack of plumbing knowledge can result in disaster down the road.
