I know DU students love this place, and it is always crowded on Thursday and Friday nights, but the place is no sports bar during weekend days. I was there to watch some March Madness last year and we were accosted by a group of skinhead looking types who appeared to be regulars and treated us like we were crashing their pool party because we wanted to watch basketball. All our sound was promptly turned off and replaced with bad eighties hair-metal. While it might be a great party joint at night, there are definitely better places to watch sports during the day with better happy hours and friendlier service - try Smugs just West on Evans and Asbury or Governor's Park on Logan and 7th (their beer specials are great during afternoon football games (buy one get one free tall drafts at happy hour price, $2 for domestic $3.50 for micros and imports). Pros: Before the Saturday afternoon regulars show up, it's comfortable Cons: No place for sports during the day, despite plenty of TVs
