Businiess name:  Rio Eyecare

Review content:
We have gone to Rio Eyecare for about 4 years but will never go back. Bought my glasses elsewhere because of the very high price to purchase glasses there. Having trouble seeing with the glasses and called to have prescription checked. Was told it would cost me another $98. Where I bought the glasses, they recheck them several times and said the glasses are exactly by the prescription. I have bought my glasses at this other business for several years and have never had trouble with a pair there. The eye exams here are done by the technicians and then the doctor reviews the exams and writes the prescription. I would think as much as they charge for the exam they would be willing to recheck prescription they wrote for you to see if they did the exam right. I guess they think they make no mistakes. When we called to verify the price of the exam, it seemed like the price of exam varys according to if you have insurance or not. They will not do a basic exam. You have to pay to have an optimap done of your eye. They do not even want to do a dilation of your eye so they can charge more for the optimap. We were told since you did not buy your glasses here we will not see you regarding the prescription we wrote unless we charge you again. One star is even too high of a rating for them. I had to select one star in order to submit this review. I do not write reviews on businesses but felt I should in this instant.
