I'm not sure I understand the reviews from 2005, but our experience was quite positive. We had gotten quotes from Empire Carpet and Home Depot, and then came to Carpet Depot of Levittown. They had the exact products, offered a better padding, and their prices were still less than the other two. The delivery time was less than one week (although had I picked something in stock, we could have had it installed next day). The installers were true craftsmen, and did a beautiful job. Overall, this was a very positive buying experience, and I would definitely recommend them to others, and buy from them again. We were also in the market for an area rug, and while the selection from the Levittown store was somewhat limited, their store in Lake Grove had a huge selection of area rugs for us to choose from. Again a positive experience.
