The install crew left a freezer unplugged. This went unnoticed for four days. Thank goodness my 1/4 steer was not damaged, but everything else has frost on it and will suffer in terms of flavor. This is a nuisance and should have been made up for by the company. Instead, the woman who took my call merely said she would "mention it" to the crew. Hardly satisfying to the customer. They also neglected to time the inspection properly, so I have to waste another day. You have to contact several different people in order to schedule things: one person for the service crew, one person to okay a job, one person to schedule install, another person to schedule inspection, who actually has to talk to someone else who has the actual book. I don't know if they need a better computer system and operating procedures. All I know is that it's irritating and the administrative staff is neither pleasant nor explanatory. That being said, the individuals who come out to do the work are pleasant and they explain how everything works. They answer questions and are not condescending or short. They are professional - except for the aforementioned install crew that did what I would consider a somewhat incomplete job. I have friends in various aspects of home repair for high-end homes and they talk about how you have to be so careful about cleanup. I guess we should all take a lesson from the wealthy and (a) follow crews around, and (b) pick through work with a fine-toothed comb and loudly complain when anything isn't perfect. Pros: Service crew (Cary) is good Cons: Administrative staff is curt
