Review content:
This is one of the largest art museums in the USA. The collections are so impressive. If you have preteen sons do not forget to visit the arms and armor exhibit, they always like it! I personally enjoy the large collection of Impressionist art. There are always a variety of traveling exhibits, too. There is no way to take in the whole museum in one visit, so limit yourself to a time period, type of art, or one of the many tours available each day.
This is the museum with all of those steps from Rocky...if you can run all the way up, really run not trot, everyone will be impressed. You still see people trying it out all of the time. I am also pretty sure that the museum is free if you go at a certain time on Sundays.
