The facial was ok – short but ok. But the sales approach was quite aggressive. It was my first time and as a person new to complex skin procedures I wanted to ease into the process. So I thought I would try a facial. Warning #1 - even though you sign up for a 60Min treatment, count to be there for at least 2 hrs. The pitch; itself is ~30Min. Warning #2 - Be prepared to talk about your yearly budget for all skin needs. The lady was asking me if I wanted to sign up for 12 facials and the peeling and some other random procedures. I was more worried about liking the facial and getting a good experience, rather than the discounts for the rest of the year. Very very aggressive. And then she says... "we are not a very aggressive place";. Also, she was trying to sell me benefits of facials - no need!! I had already signed up for the facial. All they had to do is deliver on a great experience. Warning #3 - Downgrade your expectations for facials. It was definitely less than the 60 minutes I paid for. My appointment was at 5:00pm. I showed up at 4:40 to make sure I had plenty of time to fill out any paperwork. They didn't call me in until 5:05pm, no big deal. But then the person talked about all the discounts if you sign up for this and that, and how they are different than the rest, and my budget, and blah... The pitch was done by 5:25pm,and I was finally in route to my facial, which was done by 6:14... so.. not sure it was worth it. I felt like I was buying a new car, and this was the only time to get the 100K miles warranty at such discounted prices.
