We were so bummed when we had to switch pediatric clinics because of an insurance change. With six kids, we spend a lot of time (and money!) at our doctor's office, and it's crucial that we find a friendly, competent doctor. We've been very happy with the care our children have received from the doctors at Central Pediatrics in Woodbury. We've seen just about all the doctors at one time or another, but have chosen Dr. Rhodes-Dekko as our children's primary physician. She has shown incredible care for our children, exhibiting a professional, cheerful, and cautious approach. She helped us through some scary times with our youngest when he had suck/swallow problems. She's even called our house to follow up on how kids were doing after difficult episodes. Last year she even went to bat for me, calling my OB/GYN to help me get proper care for post-partum high blood pressure. While I'd been in her office for our baby's one week check-up, she'd been concerned and thought I didn't look well. She called my OB herself and got me hooked up with the help I needed. She is care and professionalism personified! We've had good experiences with the other doctors there, too. We've been pleased with the availability of appointment times. The extended hours for walk-in care in the early mornings, evenings, and weekends are great.
