Review content:
I cannot even begin to explain how happy I am to have discovered Zen Palate at Union Square, NY. Everything about this place is a pleasure from the delicious and diverse menu selection to the beautiful and comforting restaurant design. The food is exceptionally good. I have tried about 1/2 of the items on the extensive menu and have been surprised and delighted with each dish. The only down size is that there are so many delicious choices that I have a hard time deciding what to order. If this were not enough, I'm shocked at how affordable the food is. Keep in mind that I am only talking about the "cafe" part of the restaurant (there is an upstairs too which is supposed to be more casual dining and more expensive). The cafe downstairs is very quick-service but this is not reflective of the food which is very high quality. After I have tried everything on the Cafe menu I plan to explore the upstairs dining area. Anbody who complains that a vegetarian diet is boring and tasteless has not visited Zen Palate.
